Privacy Policy

GDPR (EU) 2016/679

1.1 Who is responsible for your data

WildVectorStory, Calle Manolo Millares, 85, Arrecife, Spain, is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Privacy questions can be sent to [email protected].

1.2 What we collect

We collect the details you submit through the contact form and email: name, email address, phone number, company name, project brief, and budget range. We also collect ordinary technical logs such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed, generated when you browse this site.

1.3 Why we process it (legal bases)

Project enquiries are processed under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR to take steps at your request before entering a contract. Client records are processed under Article 6(1)(c) for tax and accounting obligations. Optional analytics cookies run only with your consent under Article 6(1)(a), withdrawable at any time.

1.4 Who receives it

Data is shared only with the processors needed to run the studio — email hosting, project management, accounting, and payment providers — each bound by data-processing agreements. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data with advertisers or brokers.

1.5 Storage and retention

Enquiry data is kept for up to 24 months so we can follow up on past conversations. Client project files and invoices are retained for the legally required period under Spanish tax law. Data is stored on servers located in the European Economic Area with encryption in transit and at rest.

1.6 Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, and portability of your data, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.

Terms of Service

Engagement terms

2.1 Scope of work

WildVectorStory provides web design, design systems, UX audits, accessibility reviews, and related front-end services. Each engagement is defined by a written proposal listing scope, deliverables, price, and timeline; that proposal, together with these terms, forms the full agreement.

2.2 Quotes and payment

Prices are quoted in USD or EUR and are fixed for the agreed scope. A 50% deposit reserves the project slot; the remaining balance is due on handover. Invoices are payable within 14 calendar days. Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately before it begins.

2.3 Client responsibilities

The client supplies accurate content, brand assets, and access credentials in a timely manner, and names one decision-maker for approvals. Delays in feedback or materials extend the delivery schedule by an equivalent period; WildVectorStory is not liable for missed dates caused by such delays.

2.4 Revisions and acceptance

Each fixed-price package includes the revision rounds stated in its proposal (two rounds as a standard). Additional rounds are billed at the studio hourly rate. Deliverables are deemed accepted if no written objections are raised within 7 days of submission.

2.5 Intellectual property

On full payment, all rights in the final client-specific designs, copy, and code are transferred to the client. WildVectorStory retains the right to display the non-confidential work in its portfolio. Third-party fonts, stock assets, and libraries remain subject to their own licences.

2.6 Liability and termination

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WildVectorStory's total liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant engagement, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Either party may terminate a project for material breach; completed work and deposits for work already performed remain payable.

Cookie Policy

ePrivacy aware

3.1 What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit wildvectorstory.com. They let the site remember your choices between visits and help us understand which pages are useful.

3.2 Cookies we use

Essential: the wildvectorstory_cookies preference stores whether you accepted all cookies or essential only. It is required for the banner to stay dismissed and cannot be switched off here.

Analytics (optional): aggregated, anonymised page-view statistics that help us improve the service deck. These run only after you choose “Accept all”.

3.3 Third-party content

Embedded maps (Google Maps) may set their own cookies when loaded. You can avoid them by not opening the map panel; the address and directions remain available in text form on our contact page.

3.4 Managing your choices

You can clear stored cookies and change your choice at any time through your browser settings. Clearing site data makes the consent banner reappear on your next visit so you can choose again.

Refund Policy

14-day EU cooling-off

4.1 Cooling-off period

Consumers in the European Union have 14 days from the deposit to cancel a distance contract without reason. If work has not started, the deposit is refunded in full. You can start work during the cooling-off period by asking us to begin; in that case a fair proportion of the price is retained for work already delivered.

4.2 Milestone-based projects

For fixed-price projects, refunds are calculated on completed milestones. Deposits cover the reserved studio slot and discovery work, which are non-refundable once performed. If you cancel after design has begun, you receive all deliverables completed to that point and are billed only for that phase.

4.3 What is not refundable

Domain registrations, stock imagery, paid fonts, hosting fees, and other third-party costs paid on your behalf are non-refundable once purchased. Monthly design retainers are billed in advance and can be cancelled before the next cycle; the current month's used hours are not refunded.

4.4 If we miss the mark

If a delivered asset does not match the agreed proposal and we cannot fix it within a reasonable period after your written notice, you are entitled to a price reduction or a full refund for the affected deliverable, at your choice.

4.5 How to request a refund

Email [email protected] with your name, project reference, and reason for the request. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 calendar days. Written requests can also be posted to WildVectorStory, Calle Manolo Millares, 85, Arrecife, Spain.
